Project Description
Representing kanji characters for love and happiness with a modern twist was the inspiration for Mimio to create these boxed note cards.
Washi papers featuring cherry blossoms symbolizing the beauty and fragility of life, and cranes representing happiness were layered with the kanji characters to create beautiful collages for the covers of the boxes. Each card is letterpress printed on Fabriano notecard paper in three colors to enhance the dimension and texture of the brush calligraphy.
